The Taliban has named Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund as the new head of state after several days of deliberations. According to The News International, he said that the new government is believed to be set on 8 September, or may be delayed for a few more days.

तालिबान ने कई दिनों के विचार-विमर्श के बाद मुल्ला मोहम्मद हसन अखुंद को नए राष्ट्राध्यक्ष के रूप में नामित किया है। द न्यूज इंटरनेशनल के अनुसार, उन्होंने कहा कि नई सरकार के 8 सिंतबर को बना तय माना जा रहा है, या कुछ और दिनों के लिए देरी हो सकती है।
